Two Cases of the Dentigerous Cyst in the Maxillary Sinus

Abstract
|

|
Since the first description of the dentigerous cyst by Albinus in 1754, there have been reported many cases of the dentigerous cyst in the maxilla .and mandible. In a certain cases it could be found in the maxillary antrum with unerupted tooth.
The author has recently experienced two cases of a large dentigerous cyst causing a marked disfiguration of the face. The cyst was completely removed by means of Caldwell-Luc´s approach under local anesthesia.
